XEREON Racing Amity FSAE team is a students' team dedicated to design, manufacture and then field for the FSAE international competition, a competitive Formula SAE race car prototype. The competition, while increasing the Students knowledge through the practical implementations of their engineering Skills and principles learnt so far, also provides an attractive and visible outlet for the sponsors investing their faith, time and money in the team. The team consists of undergraduate students pursuing their Bachelors of Technology degrees in Mechanical & Automotive Engineering from AMITY SCHOOL OF ENGINEERING & TECHNOLOGY.
We are guided in this project by our faculty who are experts in the fields of Automotive Engineering and CAD Designing. Our Faculty would also acts as project supervisors keeping track of the performance of the team and the progress made in the given time span through status checks at set intervals of time.
The team is broadly divided into three groups:
1.The Technical Group
2.Design & Presentation Group
3.The Marketing &Sponsorship Group
The Technical Group is further divided into Sub-Teams covering a particular system and its related specific tasks. Each Sub-Team consists of a Group Head who works in coordination with the other Group Heads thereby helping in development of each of the constituent parts simultaneously and in accordance to each other so as to have the vehicle ready in due course of time as per the work plan for the specified competition.
The Design & Presentation Group would work towards the designing of Media/Sponsor Consumables such as Website, Marketing requisites, Team graphics and Vehicle graphics.
The Marketing & Sponsorship Group consist of people involved with marketing of the project, sponsorship acquiring, logistics and travel management, event registration and updates follow-up.
